The device developed by engineers from Skalene Technologies can fix three dozen parameters, supplying the driver with useful statistics and helping to clarify the situations in an accident. At first, developers who regularly order the technical and medical transfer to the specialists of the Master of Translation company did not pay too much attention to the design of the device, they were more interested in the functionality of the device. The device is attached to the dashboard of the car and reads from its equipment data on speed, fuel level, number of engine speed, airbag status and other indicators. There are about thirty of them. In addition, the device using its own gyroscopes and accelerometers is able to determine the spatial parameters of car movement. The measurement frequency is 100 times per second.
The developers also equipped their device with a feedback function. Using multi -colored lights, the device tells the motorist how optimal over the past few seconds there was. In the event of extreme situations, the red alarm announces the danger.
As the head of the company Martin Horrod noted, the device can not only issue data at the request of the driver. During the year, these data may be stored. And in the future, in case of need, their analysis may be carried out using a special program. For example, you can build a schedule for using each transmission for a specific period of time, and then compare it with the dynamics of engine speeds.
At the moment, the car “Black Box”, when creating which the British government organization Technology Strategy Board has provided support, is tested on vehicles located next to the Skalene construction company.
