At the moment, the German company offers a Cayenne model with only one diesel engine – a three -liter installation that produces two hundred forty -five horsepower and 550 nm of the maximum torque. From the point of view of most owners of cars with such a motor, the power of the “engine” is clearly not enough for a sports SUV for a truly dynamic acceleration. From zero to one hundred kilometers per hour, the vehicle accelerates in seven and a half seconds, continuing to gain speed up to a mark of two hundred twenty kilometers per hour.
The car manufacturer decided to listen to the opinion of consumers and develop a new diesel version of the model under the name Cayenne S Diesel. According to CAR publication correspondents&Driver;, the novelty is aggregated by the 2-liter TDI production engine Audi (this is now placed on the latest generation A8 sedan) with a capacity of three hundred and fifty horsepower and 800 nm of the maximum torque.
