The German automotive concern BMW reports an imminent introduction of adjustments to the range of power units of the European version of the latest generation BMW 3-Series.
The residents of the Old World countries BMW offers three new modifications to the popular vehicle – 320i, 316D and 318D. The model with the 320i index is equipped with a four -cylinder gasoline engine with a turbine with a working volume of two liters, which develops one hundred and eighty -four horsepower power forces at five and a half thousand crankshaft revolutions and a maximum torque moment of 270 nm, accessible from 1 thousand 250 revolutions. With a six -speed mechanical transmission, the sedan accelerates from a place to one hundred kilometers per hour in 3 seconds. The average fuel consumption in combined mode in BMW 320i does not exceed six liters per “hundred”. For an additional fee, the car can be equipped with an automatic transmission with eight steps.
In the BMW 316D engine compartment, a two -liter diesel engine is mounted with a capacity of one hundred and sixteen horsepower and a maximum torque of 260 nm, issued in the range from 1 thousand 750 to 2 thousand 500 revolutions per minute. With the “pen”, the sedan accelerates to one hundred kilometers per hour in eleven seconds (with “automatic” 3 seconds longer) and continues to accelerate to the mark of two hundred kilometers per hour. The car can boast of an extremely modest “appetite” – only 4 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers in a mixed cycle. The issue of the exhaust gases does not exceed one hundred and fifteen grams per kilometer.
The last novelty – BMW 318D – is also equipped with a two -liter four -cylinder installation. The unit gives one hundred and forty -three horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute and 320 nm in the range from 1 thousand 750 to 2 thousand 500 revolutions per minute. BMW 318D sprint until the first “hundreds” is carried out in 1 seconds with a mechanical checkpoint and in 3 seconds – with “automatic”. The maximum speed of the sedan reaches two hundred ten kilometers per hour. In accordance with the data provided by the BMW company, the 318D model consumes four and a half liters of DT one hundred kilometers and throws 117 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
