A multifaceted test drive of the Russian SUV Lada 4 × 4 Urban was held by Hungarian journalists. During this test drive, Lada 4 × 4 Urban was subject to quite serious test tests, the impressions of which were shared by the representatives of the Hungarian media who conducted the testing.

They also noted that the Lada 4 × 4 Urban tests is not just a restyled version of a conventional field, but a completely different variation with many necessary options, including the steering wheel amplifier, heating the seats and electric windows. True, they absolutely did not like the 82-horsepower 1.7-liter motor, which practically did not change relative to the old Niva. The interior was also criticized, in which everything is solid and cold, as well as just terribly collected.
At the same time, during the test drive of Lada 4 × 4 Urban, Hungarian journalists were pleasantly surprised by the cross-country and off-road capabilities of Lada 4 × 4 Urban. They noted that for this off -road car there is actually no insurmountable obstacles.
