The Japanese automaker Nissan plans to bring the sale of electric cars to a new level and make a serial car from the IMX concept. The new crossover will have to become a breakthrough model for turning electric vehicles into a mass product.
The conceptual crossover Nissan IMX debuted on the Tokyo last year’s auto show. The novelty of the Nissan brand is based on the new brand platform, created specifically for electric cars. The power plant’s power plant was formed by a pair of electric motors that supply 435 horses in total, and a battery block that allows an electric car on one charge to overcome up to 600 km.
Also, a semi -automatic driving system, an intellectual power control system, capable of transforming excess electricity when connecting back to the network, as well as digit -based digit, was provided to the electric crossover.
The exact terms of the production of the serial Nissan IMX have not yet been reported by the automaker, but it is known that the crossover should appear on the market until 2020. At the same time, the electric SUV will be more spacious relative to the usual cars with ICEs, due to the presence of even low floor and placement in the front of the components of the climate installation.
The execution of the interior of the future electrocrosover will be implemented with the Japanese design style and architecture, that is, it will become as convenient and functional as possible. When decorating a salon, matte plastic and natural wood will be used.
It is worth noting that at the Geneva March Auto Show the debut of the updated variation of the Nissan IMX Kuro prototype with the presence of black accents of the exterior and interior, a revised radiator grill and a special gray shade of body performance.
