After quite long disputes, for several years, as well as unauthorized information leaks, thanks to insiders, the management of the Mersedes officially confirmed the fact that the company’s engineers are currently developing not only the new Citan minibus, but also create a new supercar from the Black Series family. About this was reported in communicating with reporters Tobias Moers, the head of the MeSDES department for the development of new cars. According to him, it will be a real, full -scale version of the powerful and original SLS AMG supercar, which always were cars of this series.
So far there are no prerequisites to stop and specify any technical components of the future supercar. However, with confidence, we can say that in this case, we can talk about a car whose indicators will not be smaller than: a V8 engine with a volume of 6.3 liters and a power of 600 horsepower, with a maximum torque of 677 nm. At the same time, the increase in the power of this new supercar will be quite obvious if it compare it with the original SLS AMG, in which the power is 571 horsepower force. In addition, certain prerequisites for the fact that the new version of the supercar will be easier than the prevailing at least 300 kilograms. Although even the standard version of SLS AMG is more than capable of impressing the ability to accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.8 seconds at a maximum speed of 315 kilometers per hour.
