This slogan Armenian car owners have identified a number of serious problems of our society

On the near future in Yerevan, the authorsion of the new civil initiative of auto leaders “away from our pocket!”. The event will begin at 14.00 near the “Radio Machine” and will end in Erebun. In the absence of the reaction of the authorities to put forward requirements against fines for parking for the so -called “red lines” fixed by cameras, the initiators promise to go to more effective protests.

This was announced at the press conference held in Yerevan. The speakers in it were several people who designated themselves primarily as drivers of cars. The first speaker of the press conference was Tigran Ovannisyan-head of the public organization “League Protection of Automobile Drummers”. He said that other car drivers decided to join this initiative of taxi drivers, which ultimately led to the organization of a new movement – “Away from our pocket!”. Then t. Ovannisyan announced a list of requirements for the Government of Armenia, which should be involved before the adoption of new legislation in this area.

So, the first requirement concerns the cancellation of increasing fines by 3 and 5 times to those people who did not pay them on time. This is no less – about about a quarter of one million fines issued. The second is to generally remove a clause from the law on the possibility of a three -time and five -fold increase in the fine. The third point concerns the reduction in the size of the fines. According to Ovannisyan, the sizes of some Armenian fines are commensurate with European, in particular German. But the salaries received by our citizens do not go, unfortunately, in any comparison with what German citizens receive. For this reason, the current fines should be reduced by 5 times. According to the fourth point, all fines imposed on drivers should be canceled due to the fact that they parked in those places on the streets where red lines were drawn, that is, in paid places. And finally, the fifth point…

In fairness, I must say that it turned out to be some kind of crumpled. But this is what was said. Firstly, it was proposed to suspend until the adoption of new legislation in this area all types of fines. Along the way, the tigers Ovannisyan outlined another problem – it is not clear who is engaged in the development of the new edition of the legislation, and why interested organizations cannot participate in the discussions of this bill.

Finally, the question of “red lines” was raised. “None of our citizens understand why on our roads built on our funds, someone has drawn the lines and demands money from us, without providing any services”. Following this, it was said about the planning car procession.
