That in Paris, that in London, everything is one is true, if the “Austrian airlines” from Yerevan to Vienna and back instead of the previous four, and not far off, the sixth flight, which is planned to be launched at the beginning of the next year, began to fly five times a week. And it also turned out that the first coffee shop in the capital of Austria was opened by none other than the Armenian… This and other information at yesterday’s press conference shared with Armenian journalists a representative of the Armenia Werner Cruger company. This increase in the number of flights is caused, of course, in demand. According to Mr. Kruger, the occupancy of Austrian aircraft flying from Armenia to Austria and vice versa is about 70%, which allows them to work with profit. This very profit “Austrian Airlines”, apparently, in a certain proportion, are divided with the Armenian company Atlantis European Airways (AEA), which is the Armenian co-organizer. After all, as you know, the right to flights is granted on parity grounds to companies from both countries that they are executed between, but in fact, only Austrian airlines fly on these flights. The executive director of AEA Roland Markaryan, who was also present at a press conference, did not enter into large details, citing a commercial secret. He only noted that his company is dealing with all issues relating to this flight, and studies the market for organizations of new routes to Europe. The beauty Vienna, located in the heart of Western Europe, is a geographically convenient transshipment point for traveling to the region, and this factor is used by the Austrian Airlines. Starting from October 15 (until December 17), the airline offers tickets for the same price in 12 cities in Europe. At this tariff, the right to linger in Vienna is granted during the day. All these innovations, according to Mr. Kruger, allow you to develop both tourism and business relations between Armenia and Europe. It is for the convenience of business people that the flights from Yerevan are organized in such a way that the passengers were in Vienna early in the morning and calmly managed to a business meeting in any city in Europe. Moreover, on the same day, if desired, they can return to their homeland in the evening. Flights between Yerevan and Vienna are operated by two German “fokkers” and one 126-seater “Erbas”. By the way, according to the calculations of the representative of the representative office, the Austrian Airlines occupy the third place in terms of air transportation in the Armenian market after Armavia and Aeroflot. We add that Mr. Kruger has been working in Yerevan for two years and, according to him, I am very pleased with everyone here. In general, the Austrian was very smiling and diplomatic. And when he represented Vienna, he mentioned the Ovanes of the Avostyaturians, who opened the first coffee shop in Vienna at the beginning of the 19th century…
